"Clinique Cream Eyeliner- True Black 02" she reviewed

Eyeliner is a must for me, I wear it every single day. I have quite sensitive eyes and for a long time I was using high street branded eyeliners which really irritated my eyes and made me look like I was crying. I would get to college with black all down my face but I just wasn't prepared to fork out for something more expensive. But about a week and a half ago I decided to bite the bullet and buy the Clinique cream eyeliner, may someone please explain to me why I didn't do this before?

Firstly, the packaging is very nice, I love the colours on the box and I like how simple the pot is because it's just going to get dirty with it being amongst make up so this is easy wipe.

Included in the box is a small brush which is quite stiff so it's perfect for doing a nice straight line as it doesn't just go out of control.

You might think I've used quite a lot of the product for saying I've only had it for almost two weeks but that's just because I didn't realise that the product really was like a cream(not really like the gel liners) and the first time I used it I just sort of shoved the brush in with too much force. You only get 5 ml of product but you really can use it sparingly as a little goes a long way.

I literally got the smallest amount on my brush and was able to create a strong thick line without applying more product. The only problem with the brush is that the 3rd line is the thinnest you can go but you can use your own brush.

My eyes water so much on the way to college and the picture above is my make up after wearing it for about 13/14 hours. The eyeliner hasn't smudged at all! I'm so happy with this product and I couldn't recommend it enough. It also doesn't irritate my eyes at all and it really is worth spending the money in my opinion. I shall definitely be repurchasing this when mine runs out! I believe you can also wear this on your water line and I'm sure it would be great as it's practically water proof. The only problem I have with it is that it's a bit tricky to take off, but nothing a good cleanser can't solve!

Any eyeliners you'd recommend?

"Of corpse I'm okay" She cackled

HALLOWEEN HALLOWEEN HALLOWEEN HALLOWEEN HALLOWEEN HALLOWEEN
Happy Halloween guys! Although I'm not that excited because I already celebrated and dressed up on Monday. I haven't posted in a while *hides face in shame* and I've just wiped off a layer of dust from my laptop(no exaggeration). I'm not going to ramble an excuse for the rest of this post but one word will sum it all up: coursework!

Anyway I've been tagged to do the 'Blogger tag' by Klaudia/styleitwithme, she does some amazing DIY's so you should check her out!  So the rules are:
  1. Each person tagged must post 11 random facts about themselves
  2. They must answer the 11 questions posted by the previous blogger
  3. They must create 11 more questions to ask their tagged bloggers
  4. They must tag 11 blogs with less than 200 followers
  5. The bloggers must be told
  6. No tag backs

I like the sound of this tag because obviously I'm quite new to the blogger world so now you can find some stuff out about me! Lets get started then...

11 random facts about me
  1. I work at Boots as a Christmas temp
  2. I used to be overly obsessed with anime(Japanese cartoons)
  3. I check the Topshop "New In This Week" section every single day but never buy anything from there unless it's on sale
  4. I regret all the GCSE subjects I picked to do: Geography, Drama and Child Development. Word of advice, don't pick subjects just because your friends are doing them because you will hate them and it could stop you from doing what you really want to do when you're picking your A levels
  5. Every year I tell myself I'll get a planner/diary so I can be more organised but that never happens
  6. I love watching old movies especially 60's ones
  7. I speak Croatian fluently because both my parents are Croatian but then I have a normal British accent so no one ever believes I can and then I have to prove it
  8. I love spinach, courgettes and avocado(not together obviously)
  9. I've had lots of hair colours, brown, brown with blonde higlights, brown with blue highlights(an accident of course), "chocolate brown" which turned out black, purple, red, pink, peach, blonde and now it's dark blonde although I'm going back pink when I finish with my job
  10. I have this weird thing where I can't wash spoons when doing the washing up
  11. I'm allergic to baby oil
Klaudia's 11 questions
  1. Are you a saver or a spender? I like to save for a few weeks and then go and spend it all, but I'd definitely rather save than spend.
  2. Blackberry or iPhone? iPhone definitely, I smashed the screen on mine a couple of days ago :'( luckily it still works.
  3. Favourite magazine? Company magazine, decent price and amazing content!
  4. What's your hobby? I'm quite ashamed to say I don't really have one, I like reading, if that's a hobby.
  5. What do you usually eat for breakfast? Nothing haha. Mostly because I don't have time before college and don't want to wake up any earlier than I already do, because I'm so used to not eating breakfast so it doesn't really bother me or because I wake up late at weekends so I simply miss breakfast time. But if I really do need some energy, I'll have a cup of tea with about 4 sugars(I'm a sweet person) or coco pops/krave cereal.
  6. What country would you like to visit? I'd love to visit Japan for a city holiday or Thailand for a beach holiday.
  7. What's your favourite fruit or vegetable? I think it would have to be melon.
  8. Do you prefer writing in pen or pencil? Pencil, apart from when they break.
  9. What holiday you went on was your favourite? Greece is my favourite place I've been to for hotels and beaches. However, I enjoyed myself more when I went to Turkey because we went with my whole family and I have no brothers or sisters so at least I had my cousins there for company.
  10. Facebook or Twitter? Twitter, I deleted Facebook because 80% of my 'friends' on there were idiots
  11. Is your bedroom currently messy or tidy? Tidy! But for the first time in ages and only because my mum pulled out the 'your not going to your friend's party unless you clean your room' card.
My 11 questions for you!
  1. What's your favourite item of clothing you own?
  2. Do you have any obsessions, if so what are they?
  3. What's your favourite Disney movie?
  4. What's your favourite chocolate bar?
  5. What subjects do you do/did you do at college or sixth form?
  6. Cats or dogs?
  7. Where would you ultimately like to live?
  8. What did you last have to eat/drink?
  9. What's the best book you've ever read?
  10. Mcdonalds or KFC?
  11. Would you rather live a year without your laptop or without your phone?

I tag
  1. http://abitottenhamsmith.blogspot.co.uk she has a bit more than 200 followers but I really like her blog
  2. http://whattaylorbuys.blogspot.co.uk/
  3. http://punkypugs.blogspot.co.uk/
  4. http://kel--belle.blogspot.co.uk/
And I tag anyone else with less than 200 followers and if you do decide to do it tell me so that I can take a look at your blog and give you a follow because I like finding new blogs!

"And they all lived happily ever after" he read

I'v been doing so much work this week for a levels. They have practically taken over my life, I thought I could handle four but I really can't. However, I do enjoy some of it. Obviously my favourite is art, our starting point is the word 'collections'. I've decided to do collections of fairytales, seeing as I'm obsessed with Disney anyway. These are a few of my inspirations so far and how I would apply the inspiration to my work(if that even makes sense)...

Helen Musselwhite creates these amazing pieces of art using paper. I really like the house because I could create something similar but a Hansel and Gretel version and create the house out of sweets made out of paper. I also really like the colours she uses as they just remind me of fairytales and if you can justify why you used the colours, why you did this, why you did that, you will get more marks and more marks= better grade.

I absoloutely love the colours Seiko Kato uses in this! I also like how busy it is but you still focus on everything because it's so detailed(I'm really bad at putting my analysing in words but I understand what I mean by all of this poo talk). In my project I'm thinking of an object to represent each fairy tale so for instance, the obvious one, an apple for Snow White. I could then incorporate all these objects into a collage  and create something similar to this peacock tail.

Su Blackwell is mindblowing! I'd hate to cut up a book as books are like my family, they're very special to me. However it looks every so dainty, and I like that she's used an actual Alice in Wonderland book because it all just ties in. You should google this artist if you have a few spare seconds because she really is amazing.

Lastly(I could tell you another 100 artists really but I shan't keep you), but definitely not leastly is Tim Burton. I like how he can give the most innocent of things a sinister feel. His drawing style almost reminds me of Quentin Blake's(the genius who illustrated Roal Dahl's books), not overly complicated but beautiful at the same time.

I hope you liked this post, I didn't really know what to talk about so I just thought I'd talk about what I love(art if you didn't know). Also, has anyone done/ is doing AS level biology? Omg hardest thing ever, in my opinion, I've failed all the end of unit tests which annoys me because I put so much effort into it but it just isn't working out for me, I wish I was a super genius, or I just wish I could drop it but my dad would kill me because then I wouldn't be doing anything academic. Anyway, enough with the rambles!

"Goodnight my friends" she waved.

"Going so soon?" She asked with a sunken face

I can't wait to move out! Not because I hate my parents or anything, but I seriously want to decorate a room, apartment or house. I keep seeing really cute stuff and I just want to buy it all but my room is full up with stuff and I just have no space. So I thought I should decorate my blog with the stuff and post about it.

First of all is this limited edition Mulan print. I love love love it. If it's Disney it's perfect, sadly the £50 price tag is not so perfect for my funds. They do most of the other princesses too but I just really like the colours on this one!

From Paperchase these low voltage lights, I have quite a few fairy lights and lamps in my room. These being low voltage are great because they obviously won't use as much energy, and when your someone like me and have lights on all the time this can save quite a bit of money. And don't fairy lights remind you of Christmas?

Bed covers can give a room a completely different look, I especially like to put them on when they've been freshly washed and they just make your whole room smell of washing powder. These are the lyckoax ones from where I would like to live(Ikea).

I'm obsessed with storage. Don't even get me started on how many boxes I own and half of them are empty, they're just there to look nice. But they're just so pretty and whenever your room is a mess, chuck all of your stuff into a box and voila mess be gone. These are just a random set I found on google images but I'm 99% sure that if you go to your local tkmaxx they'll have a ton of boxes and sometimes they have really cool ones that are like books. I can't link you to them sadly because they don't have a proper online website but you should definitely give them a visit.

Finally, in the land of 'I'm so British I have to drink tea all the time' a good mug and cookie jar is vital! We're back to square one on this one, the Disney store! Jack Skellington Nightmare Before Christmas Cookie jar, Tangled/Rapunzel mug, Marie mug and Evil Queen(Snow White) mug. But if you don't want to pay the £8 price tag on some of the mugs a hint is to root around charity shops because I've found a few for the grand price of 50p.

I hope you don't mind this kind of random post about homeware things but I've seen a few people post about decorating their uni flats so I thought I'd post what I will most likely buy in the future when I go to uni.

"Buona notte!" Says the nameless blogger.

"But aren't diamonds a girls best friend?" He questioned

Sorry about no posts the past few days, but if you saw how much coursework I had to catch up on you would understand. Also, the fact that I've had full days at college and then work straight after until late does not help.

You know how I was mentioning I wanted to see Frankenweenie and ParaNorman? Well... no you didn't guess it, I did not in fact go see them. I got 'forced' into watching sinister. Remind me to never watch a horror at the cinemas again. I ended up playing bubblemania on my phone for the whole 1 hour 50 minutes, if you do not have bubblemania go download it now, you're missing out!

On Monday I was super happy though. I've been wanting the Kaboodle shoes from Topshop for so long but £62 is a little too much for someone like me. But anyway I was sitting in Costa when I got an email from Topshop telling me they had a sale(you know where this is going). I wasn't very hopeful because Topshop sales are either all the stuff nobody wants or all the stuff people want but they are already out of stock in the average sizes. Anyway, to my surprise my babies were on sale for £30, and luckily I had saved £25 and my parents were willing to pay for the remaining £5 and the P+P. So here they are...

They're so perfect! I got the red ones because most of my shoes are black and they look like dorothy shoes from the wizard of oz(I did really want white but my mum said no because I would get them dirty as soon as I stepped out of the house). I wore them round the house all day yesterday when I got them and then wore them to Sainsbury's, where I forgot to buy squirty cream and marshmallows for my hot chocolates:'(. I can tell you that they are super comfortable and they are just so cute. They are true to size, I'm usually a 5 1/2 if I want a perfect fit, but dabble between 5's and 6's at the high street where there are no half sizes. So I bought a size 6 and they are a tiny bit too big but I just tighten the strap as much as possible and they don't slip off at all. They're really versatile, I can think of a million outfits for these and they look very festive too which is great because 65 days till Christmas! I'll probably do some outfits with these because I really am in love with them.

So that's all, hopefully I'm back daily now :D
"Au Revoir" smiled the nameless blogger.

"Darling, you have some blood on your face" she whispered

How could I be mentioning Christmas when Halloween comes first? I love Halloween!!! I love any festive season really. I'm most excited about the movies, no not the actual scary ones, but the ones created for 5 year olds such as ParaNorman and Frankenweenie! Trailers in case you haven't seen them:

I especially can't wait for Frankweenie because it was directed by the genius Tim Burton. I'm also a sucker for buying merchandise and the Disney store have got plenty of it right here, I want the mug and the hoodie so much!!

The best bit about Halloween is dressing up, but I'm seriously stuck on what to wear. It needs to be something spooky as I want to 'get in the mood' for it but cheap, I'm seriously just thinking of going for the classic white sheet with holes. What are you dressing up as?

I love it when people comment on my posts by the way so don't be shy, I want to be friends!(That sounds kind of creepy-.-).

"Anyway, bye bye!" the nameless blogger sings.

"T'is the season to be jolly" he sang

I know there are still 72 days till Christmas but I'm already in the mood and I just couldn't not mention it. I mean. who isn't excited for Christmas day?

On Thursday I was at my first shift at work, I work at Boots, and obviously the Christmas gifts are already out! I think the 3 for 2 offer on Christmas gifts is one of the best around and you really can get some great stuff. This year Boots has bought in a lot more branded sets too. Here are a few of my favourite gifts:

Soap and Glory Smooth Over Darling £35
I love this as it contains full sizes of the products so you are actually getting quite a lot. Also, you get this lovely travel bag too! Also, soap and glory have rebranded their Christmas gifts and it no longer focuses on just the vintage as it has a more contemporary feel with the "S" and "G" printed all over the bag.

Fearne's Favourites hatbox was £35 on offer for £17
This offer is amazing! You get 8 products, a small bag which they come in(can be used as a washbag), and the box which you can use for storage. From what I smelt in store most of the products have hints of coconut which is a scent most people like so you can't go too wrong with this gift.

Hello Kitty and Liberty Arts Hugs and Kisses Overnight Bag £25
I have an unhealthy obsession with Hello Kitty so this is just a perfect gift for me. I love the overnight bag because of the cute little bow on the top and absoloutley adore the liberty collection. I just don't know what else to say as 'perfect' really does sum it up.

So those are a few of my favourite gifts which you can get on 3 for 2. Also, you should watch out for any events there are at Boots. On Thursday it was 'for every £50 you spend you get £12 worth of points'. I think the next one is November the 1st so if your planning on doing a big shop, try do it then. I'll try doing another one of these posts but a Secret Santa edition, so things under a tenner maybe?

"Thanks for reading, goodnight" the nameless blogger says.
